The seven-day trial and one-time NeuRig MIDI 1.x purchase are available. Purchase separately through Paddle from the app. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Software licence and product terms for NeuRig MIDI 1.x.
1. Developer and purchase
NeuRig MIDI is independently developed by Akos Varga, trading as VargAud Labs, Schönhauser Allee 126, 10437 Berlin, Germany. Contact: [email protected]. The complete provider details are in the Legal notice / Impressum.
For purchases through Paddle, Paddle is the authorised reseller and merchant of record. Its Buyer Terms govern the purchase and payment. These terms describe your licence to use NeuRig MIDI and do not replace Paddle’s purchase terms or mandatory consumer rights.
2. What is included
The purchase is a one-time software licence for NeuRig MIDI 1.x, with up to two active Macs. It includes configurable MIDI controls, Dynamic and Static presets, expression-pedal mapping, and preset, setlist and library import/export. There is no subscription or automatic renewal.
A Native Instruments Rig Kontrol 3, an Apple silicon Mac (M1 or newer), macOS 13 or later, and a USB connection are required. Receiving software or a hardware instrument needs its own MIDI configuration. Third-party software, instruments, cables and hardware are supplied separately.
This MIDI release does not provide Rig Kontrol 3 audio input or output. NeuRig Pro, future audio support, later major versions and future hardware products are separate developments; this purchase does not promise or pre-order them.
3. Seven-day free trial
The trial starts when you choose Start 7-day Trial in the app and lasts seven consecutive days. Internet access is required to start it. No card is required and the trial never becomes a paid purchase automatically. There is one trial per Mac; reinstalling does not restart it.
When the trial ends, MIDI operation stops until a purchase is activated. Your saved presets and exports are retained. You can buy or activate an existing licence during the trial. The trial never converts to a paid purchase automatically.
4. Licence and activation
The licence permits the purchaser to use NeuRig MIDI for personal or professional work on up to two activated Macs. You may not share a licence key to give unrelated purchasers their own access or distribute unauthorised copies. This does not restrict rights that applicable law requires us to permit, or the licences of separately identified open-source components.
Online activation is required. If you start checkout in the app, that Mac activates after payment verification. An activation link sent to the purchase email can authorise another Mac, subject to the two-Mac limit. Activated paid Macs can use the installed software offline without periodic licence renewal.
Use the app’s deactivation option before moving a licence to a replacement Mac. If a Mac is lost, broken or unavailable, contact support; account recovery is handled individually. We do not promise automatic recovery from an unavailable Mac.
5. Delivery, updates and support
Delivery is digital: the app is downloaded and the licence is sent to the purchase email after confirmed payment. Use an email inbox you control. If delivery or activation fails, contact us with your order reference.
Updates made available for NeuRig MIDI 1.x are included. Internet is needed to download an update, and installation requires your action. Future major upgrades are not included unless expressly offered. Applicable legal rights to necessary updates, remedies and conformity are unaffected; the 1.x scope is not a limit on those rights.
Support is provided by the independent developer at [email protected]. No fixed response time, round-the-clock service or guaranteed compatibility with every receiving app is promised. Use the free trial with your own setup and keep backups of your presets.
6. Refunds and consumer rights
See the Refunds & withdrawal policy. Mandatory withdrawal, defect and other consumer rights remain in force. These terms do not exclude mandatory warranties or liability, and do not require a consumer to give up the protection of their applicable law.
7. Independence and third parties
NeuRig MIDI is not an official Native Instruments product and is not endorsed by the makers of the receiving apps shown in examples. Their names identify compatibility examples and remain their owners’ trademarks. Optional Ko-fi support is separate from buying a licence and does not grant activation or additional Mac slots.
